01 — The Problem
The equine industry is unique in an uncomfortable way: it is one of the world's most capital-intensive hobby markets — and one of the least data-driven. An average horse owner spends hundreds of thousands per year. Feed, farrier, veterinarian, training, equipment, treatments. And yet nearly every decision is based on opinions, traditions, and gut feeling.
The farrier has their philosophy. The trainer has their method. The feed advisor has their conviction. The vet has their diagnosis. And none of them have shared, objective data to stand on. The result is predictable: horses suffer more than they need to. Injuries are discovered too late. Investments are made in the wrong things.
There is another layer rarely discussed: horse and rider are a unit, but are never treated as one. Most horses are naturally asymmetric — an evolutionary advantage in the wild. But with a rider on their back, the horse must redistribute its center of gravity to carry the weight evenly on all four legs. If it fails, uneven loading of joints, muscles, and fascia structures occurs — with tension, compensation, and reduced mobility as a result.
No established standard for how a horse should move, carry itself, or feel. Every expert measures against their own experience. Ridesum changes that.
The rider's stiffness in the shoulders affects how she holds the reins — which directly affects how the horse moves. It's a system. But the industry treats it as two separate problems.
In elite football, every player is monitored with 13–15 data points. Green zone, yellow zone, red zone. In the equine industry, nothing equivalent exists.
There are booking systems, vet journals, feed log apps. But no one has built a platform that connects data, rider, horse, treatment, and certified therapists in a global network.
02 — The Ecosystem
Fascia Horse is not a product. It is an ecosystem with three interconnected layers that reinforce each other. Every new Ridesum measurement drives demand for treatment. Every treatment generates data back to the app. Every new certified partner expands the network that attracts more users.
AI-powered analysis app for horse and rider. Think smartwatch for the horse, combined with training diary, marketplace, and communication tool between rider and therapist.
Turnaround story: Ridesum was valued at 50 MSEK. Then it went bankrupt. Not because the app was bad — 60,000 downloads in 144 countries prove that. But because the business model was wrong. We acquired the bankrupt estate in autumn 2024, integrated it into the Fascia Horse ecosystem, and set the right model: 49 kr/month with everything included. Result: 400% increase in paying users within one week.
Patented full-body fascia treatment for horses using Atlasbalans technology. The treatment increases flow, mobility, and relaxation. It can simulate movement for horses on box rest. It works on horse AND rider as a unit.
Certified partner network with complete platform: booking, payment, client management, marketing. Partners pay 5,000 kr/month for the full package. Fascia Horse takes 10–15% royalty on every treatment booked through the platform.
03 — The Proof
One of the world's most decorated show jumpers
Treated all his horses with Fascia Horse for a full year. Result: won the Global Champions Tour. Indirect shareholder in Fascia Horse International through ownership in Fascia Innovation Sweden AB.
National team physiotherapist
The US show jumping team works with the Fascia Horse method. Janus Marquis, physiotherapist for the team, is a customer and ambassador. The team won the World Championship — first time in 32 years.
Sweden's premier trotting race
Six of ten horses in Elitloppet were treated by Fascia Horse therapists.
World-renowned dressage trainer
Featured in the Fascia Horse course package with a star clinic. Her name and participation is a credibility proof of the highest order.
Olympic rider
One of Sweden's most prominent show jumping stars. Featured in the course package with 'Jumping with Feel' — a concrete example of working at the intersection of performance and wellbeing.
FasciaClinics International is the first incorporated vertical within the Fascia Innovation ecosystem — and the proof that we know how to do this.
04 — Concrete Cases
A rider was placed in a horse simulator. Ridesum seat analytics showed she was crooked — loading more on one side. She was treated with the FasciaClinics method. A new analysis showed she was now straight. The load on the horse had changed measurably. The symbiosis between rider and horse — always discussed in theory — could for the first time be shown quantitatively.
Four riding school horses (10–18 years) were measured with Sleip (movement asymmetry analysis) and thermographic camera before and after fascia treatment with Atlasbalans M1. All horses showed improvement: better posture, shinier coat, more relaxed muscles, freer movement, increased warmth in back and croup (indicating improved flow), and more even heat distribution. One horse showed lasting improvement between sessions.
05 — The Team
Founder & CEO, Fascia Innovation Sweden AB
Founded Fascia Innovation with his father Hans in 2010. Built the ecosystem from zero — without external capital. Led FasciaClinics from idea to a company valued at 250 MSEK with 550+ external shareholders and operations in three countries.
Head of Ridesum & Fascia Horse
Tech entrepreneur with deep roots in the equine world. Founded Statement — a sensor company for equine health. Drives Ridesum from turnaround to global platform. The combination of technical competence, industry knowledge, and business drive is exactly what this phase requires.

07 — Financial Model
2,000,000 paying users × 49 kr/month
30,000 certified partners × 5,000 kr/month
1,500,000 treatments/month × ~144 kr avg royalty
Total ARR Year 5: ~5,556 MSEK
Today's valuation is 50 MSEK for 100% of the company. You buy shares at 10 kr each. If Fascia Horse reaches a fraction of the 5-year model — say 500 MSEK ARR against a conservative 8× multiple — the company is worth 4 billion kronor. That's an 80× multiple on today's entry valuation. For comparison: FasciaClinics International is valued at 250 MSEK today. That's the first vertical we incorporated. Fascia Horse is the second — with a potentially much larger market and a SaaS component that FasciaClinics lacks.
08 — Why Now
The Fascia Horse method has worked for 16 years. But without a data loop — a way to measure results and connect rider, horse, therapist, and data — scalability was limited. Ridesum solves that. We own it now.
The FasciaClinics platform is live and proven. Ridesum has pocket office and marketplace. The combination with AI gives us the complete platform without building from zero.
During the 2020s, breakthroughs in fascia research have accelerated. What Hans Bohlin and the team built on clinical intuition in 2010 is now being confirmed by science.
We have a head start — 16 years of method development, 600+ therapists, 60,000 app users in 144 countries. No competitor has all these parts. But head starts aren't eternal.
09 — Risks & FAQ
Wrong business model, not wrong product. 60,000 organic downloads in 144 countries prove demand exists. The subscription model at 49 kr/month — which increased paying users by 400% in one week — is the right model.
It's ambitious. But 60,000 organic downloads in 144 countries without marketing show that demand is global and natural. With a partner network of 30,000 certified therapists recommending the app, the channel is powerful.
Technology is not our moat. The method, the certification system, and the network of 600+ therapists is. A big tech player can build sensors. They can't build the methodological competence, the certification system, and the trust from horse people that we've built in 16 years.
Fascia Innovation sells for strategic reasons — capital to accelerate Ridesum and the partner platform. FasciaClinics did the same and is today valued at 250 MSEK with 550+ external shareholders. That's the model.
At 800–1,500 kr per treatment and 10–15% royalty, each treatment generates 80–225 kr for Fascia Horse. That's SaaS margins on a physical service offering — possible because we provide the entire infrastructure.
The Vision
"Imagine a world where every horse has a baseline. Where the rider knows exactly how their horse feels — before they saddle up. Where treatment is proven, scalable, and accessible to all. Where equine health is built on data, not guesswork. That's the world we're building. Now we invite you to own a part of it."
